The LOMO LC-A (Lomo Kompakt Automat) is a fixed lens, 35 mm film, leaf shutter, zone focus, compact camera introduced in 1984.
Its design is based on the Cosina CX-2, with the difference being that it lacks a swiveling front and self-timer.[1] It was built in Soviet-era Leningrad by Leningrad Optics and Mechanics Association (LOMO).
Mass production of the LC-A series was then started in 1984. Initially available only on the Russian market, it was later exported to other Soviet countries, such as Poland and Ukraine.
